Blog Upgraded

A few of you may have noticed, I have upgraded my blog. I had been running on Simple PHP Blog. That was a basic set up that met my (limited) needs initially. But it did not have all the features I needed if I wanted to keep the blog going. Mainly, its anti-spam support was not very good, and I wanted a blog which required me to approve all comments before they published to my site. The comment-spam had gotten so out of hand, I had to shut off comments. So I needed to upgrade to something better.

So I’ve now upgraded to WordPress. This is still PHP (sorry ColdFusion folks, I’m still too lazy to switch to a host with CF), but at least it has a more complete feature set.

This is not really note worthy for most of you I know. But I want to post it, because all the old comments did not carry over. So that’s why you see zero comments on all the posts, and if you have commented on one before it is now missing. If I find time, I might try to import all of them (I’ve archived them).
